According to the US Green Building Council, buildings in the United States are responsible for 39% of CO2 emissions, 40% of energy consumption, 72% of the electricity consumption and 14% of water consumption making green building a source of significant economic and environmental opportunity. The Council predicts that greater building efficiency can meet 85% of future demand for energy and that a commitment to green building has the potential to create 2.5 million jobs.

ECO Realty is currently developing a franchise model for US markets to promote the benefits of sustainable building via the real estate sector.
